FIXTURLASERŽ Centring
The FixturlaserŽ Centering is a flexible standard system for measurements on inside
diameters. It is a powerful tool for checking bearing journals as well as positioning of
support bearings in applications such as propeller shafts.
The FixturlaserŽ Centering measures the rotational center position, in two axes, in
relation to user defined reference points.
The system is based on the FixturlaserŽ Platform and provides fully functionality for
Measurement, Alignment and Documentation of the results.
The rigid fixtures together with easy operated components fulfills the requirements on
a Quick, Easy and Precise alignment system Typical applications for the Fixturlaser
Centring is propeller shaft alignment in ships and vessels.
The user interface is touch screen operated and displays the measurement result graphically
and in figures. Alignment of bearing journals in diesel engines within ship building and
power generation, where FixturlaserŽ Centring has proved to be most useful.
Touch screen technology
The user interface is entirely based upon symbols and graphics. The touch sensitive screen
provides the user with a clear and easily operated tool displaying only the necessary
information. The risk for input and operator errors is minimal. No text is used and the
system guides the user towards a perfect alignment.
Upgradeability
The Fixturlaser Centring can easily be upgraded adding more comprehensive functions.
This protects your investment. You will always be able to add future functions and
developments.
The Fixturlaser Centring in short:
- Covers diameters from 150 to 550 mm as standard.
Other dimensions are available as option.
- Centerline and offset measurements.
- Straightness measurements in one or two axis with up to 99 measurement points.
- Live data during adjustment of measured object in any point.
- Choose any measured point as reference and add comments to each measured point.
