This year once again Machine Support was present at the SMM exhibition in Hamburg, Germany. For four days we welcomed (potential) customers and relations at our stand in hall A4.
For the first time Machine Support displayed its new demo rig. The rig was designed to easily show some of the products and services we offer in our marine division. The services displayed included laser alignment, strain gauge alignment, dynamic alignment, on-site machining and 3D measurements showing both the Faro laser tracker and measuring arm. On the product side there was a range of Vibracon® elements on display including The Vibracon Original, Extended Vibracon Original, Vibracon Low Profile and Extended Vibracon Low Profile. These were all accompanied by spherical washers.
Elsewhere on the stand the latest version of ShaftDesigner was on display. Once again the interest was great with representatives of OEM’s, classification societies and ship designers taking the opportunity to talk to us about the newest updates and features.
The SMM 2010 was a great success with more than 50.000 visitors, making it the largest marine exhibition in the world. Machine Support looks forward to come back in 2012. In the meantime keep an eye on our website for other upcoming events.
